Earlier this month Dylan and I went to Los Angeles! It was our first time visiting and we loved the vibe. There was a major heatwave while we were there, so I opted to wear a ton of light fabrics, loose fitting pants and bike shorts. Thank you LA, you really made us feel at home. Here’s some of what I wore, ate and some highlights!

Where we stayed: West Hollywood, in an Airbnb. They are quite reasonably priced (at the time we went, July) and our friends wanted to stay somewhere central. If Dyl and I go back, we definitely want to stay closer to Venice Beach. The atmosphere was awesome and there was so much to do!
Where to eat: Joan’s on Third, The Nice Guy (thought this was going to be super snobby because it’s a celeb go-to, but it was amazing!) and Sweetgreen. LA has a ton of vegan options and healthy eats! We enjoyed it thoroughly. ALSO In N Out fries Animal style is NOT overrated. SOOOO GOOD.
Where to go: The Abbot Kinney area was by far my fave place to shop. There were to many small boutiques, as well as stores we don’t have in Toronto. The Reformation pop-up, Eveleyn Bobbie and Principessa were some of the highlights!
Runyon Canyon hike is a must-do and the best way to start your morning. It’s as challenging as you want it to be. Not recommended for those who have injuries, as it’s all uphill.
Malibu is a perfect day trip. We went to El Matador beach on a foggy day, and it was still stunning.

Overall, a memorable trip! Excited to visit again and discover some new places. Some highlights in my OOTW video below!
