Hi everyone! I’m back with a new video (finally!!) that I’ve been just as nervous as I’ve been excited to put up. My weight and body image has been quite a private matter in my life for the last couple of years – as my body has definitely changed a lot and I had a hard time accepting it. Pretty much, I felt like I was going through puberty at 19 years old (when I finally got boobs and hips, hahaha). It was a hard adjustment when I was always known as skinny and scrawny my whole life, and I was happy with the way my body was. Through all it’s changes, I became really self-critical, which made it harder for me to post on my blog. This summer was a real game changer for me. I realized that I wanted to be a healthier person and not continue with my kraft-dinner-college-girl diet. It was time! I really started to become more aware of what I was putting into my body, as well as beginning to exercise and develop a workout routine. It hasn’t been easy, but I’m really happy with how it’s all worked out so far. I definitely feel a lot more confident and my mental health has also definitely improved since taking more control of my physical health.
That being said, I’m really excited to take you on this journey with me, and I’m also excited for a bunch of new videos that I have planned for my Youtube channel! Without further ado, here is my first official video with my Canon Rebel T5 – I’m really happy with the quality, and I hope you guys enjoy it (and please watch it in HD if you have the bandwith to do so, it looks reaaal clear!)!
Love Always,
Rachel
How did you start with the workout and food change? I think it really hard to keep eating healthy all the time and work out as well. When I work out I always start getting so hungry. :/ how long did it take you to adjust? 🙂
