Hello,
So, the basic blue bootcut jean is an absolute staple. This style can be worn by all different body types, and it is probably the most flattering cut on anybody! For the summer, I decided to roll them up… and create three different look to flatter this style.
the basic jean!
The first look I created is a “preppy” look. With a boyfriend blazer and a basic v-neck, this look is absolutely classic. I paired it with heeled mary-janes to make it look more polished. For accessories, I added a studded leather bag and some earrings.
This look is more “tribal themed”. With a vibrant, graphic shirt and some beaded bangles, this makes the jeans look very summery and bohemian. To make a contrast to the care-free outfit, I added a polished, quilted bag – however it was still casual since the main material of it is denim. Add some oversized sunglasses & moccasin booties and you’re ready for the warm weather!
To make these jeans more relaxed, but girly at the same time, I threw on a knitted loungey sweater. It’s super comfortable and great for cool summer nights. To make the outfit girlier, I added a burberry wristlet and some pretty pink thong sandals. On the sweater, I also tied the bow into a knot and tied it tighter to accentuate my waist. For sunny days, I put on some pretty wayfarer style ray-bans. Girly Chic!
Overall, denim is an absolute staple. I wanted to make these three main looks stylish and comfortable. Plus, not intimidating, instead, approachable – I wanted everything to be able to be worn out any casual day. I hope you enjoyed this!
